'Art to Wear' Designs Shine on the Runway

In an arena setting that usually brings to mind great moments in Wolfpack basketball history, it was the work of 15 NC State textile and design students which garnered rounds of enthusiastic cheers, oohs and aahs from a jubilant crowd gathered for the university's eighth-annual Art to Wear fashion show, held Thursday, April 23 at Reynolds Coliseum.

On a campus boasting no journalism major, the work produced by members of NC State Student Media continues to draw attention and accolades on the national level. Most recently, the Agromeck and Windhover were awarded Gold Crown Awards by the Columbia Scholastic Press Association, giving NC State the distinction of being the only university in the nation to win top honors for multiple publications.

As Good as Gold

Grains of Time is celebrating 40 years of a cappella music at NC State.
