In the Den of the Wolfpack
We're the Red and White from State, and we know we are the best. A hand behind our back, we can take on all the rest.
Students Get Geared Up
For NC State students, Homecoming is a time for making incredible memories that will stay with them for a lifetime. Earlier this week, we asked a few current students what makes Homecoming such a special time, and why the accompanying traditions are so important. From the Pack Howl, to opportunities to participate in service-based events and the chance to snag free food – just for wearing Wolfpack red – we heard it all.

Wondering About Parade Traffic?
Friday's Homecoming Parade (map) is scheduled to begin at approximately 6 p.m. Campus Police advises they anticipate closing Hillsborough Street from Dan Allen to Pullen Road between 5:45 - 6 p.m.; but campus streets along the Parade route will close earlier. In addition, floats are staged at Sullivan Lot (behind tennis courts/Doak Field).
CAT/TT links are online for transit riders. Wolfline will suspend service shortly after 5 p.m. but all routes EXCEPT Rt. 4 Westgrove and Rt. 11 Village Link will resume normal evening service as soon as roads clear. Check TVS for real-time bus locations and updates.
Visit Triangle Transit Homecoming Parade for information about detours in effect from 5-8 p.m. Friday.TT will divert to Western Boulevard and serve the Western Boulevard/Morrill Drive stop.
Faculty and staff members who normally park in the "C" zone parking lot (behind tennis courts), are asked to not move traffic cones which have been placed for the float staging area. The majority of this lot will be in use throughout the day for float-building and parade-staging on Friday. "C" permitholders may also park on the west side (tennis court side) of Varsity Drive.
