Schedule set for provost forums

The Provost Search Committee has announced the schedule for a series of open forums involving the three candidates for the position of provost and executive vice chancellor for academic affairs.

These forums are designed to provide an opportunity for members of the campus community to hear from, and ask questions of, each of the three candidates. Faculty, staff and students are encouraged to participate in these forums, which will be held as follows:

April 3

Richard L. Edwards, Distinguished Professor, School of Social Work, UNC-Chapel Hill

  • Student Session: Clark Dining Hall, 7:45 - 8:45 a.m.
  • Staff Session: Room 375 Witherspoon, 12:30 - 1:00 p.m.
  • Faculty Session: Room 375 Witherspoon, 1:15 - 2:15 p.m.
  • Department Head Session: Room 375 Witherspoon, 2:30 - 3:15 p.m.

April 4

James L. Oblinger, Dean, College of Agriculture and Life Sciences, NC State

  • Student Session: Clark Dining Hall, 7:45 - 8:45 a.m.
  • Staff Session: Blue Room, Talley Student Center, 12:30 - 1:00 p.m.
  • Faculty Session: Walnut Room, Talley Student Center, 1:15 - 2:15 p.m.
  • Department Head Session: Walnut Room, Talley Student Center, 2:30 - 3:15 p.m.

April 11

Joan Hinde Stewart, Dean, College of Liberal Arts, University of South Carolina

  • Student Session: Clark Dining Hall, 7:45 - 8:45 a.m.
  • Staff Session: Blue Room, Talley Student Center, 12:30 - 1:00 p.m.
  • Faculty Session: Walnut Room, Talley Student Center, 1:15 - 2:15 p.m.
  • Department Heads Session: Walnut Room, Talley Student Center, 2:30 - 3:15 p.m.
