Tailgating
rules in place for football
Football season kicks
off Sunday night, Sept. 4 as the Wolfpack take on Virginia Tech. Parking
rules remain
essentially the same as new rules implemented last year:
- The Carter-Finley
and Trinity Road fairgrounds lots will open four hours
before game time.
- Access
to the lots, including the fairground, is limited to people with
a parking pass.
- The fairgrounds lot
will be patrolled by law enforcement personnel in a manner similar
to the Carter-Finley lots.
- For fans who do not
have a permit, parking is available at the private lots near the stadium.
- Student
seating will be general admission (versus reserved seats) this season;
and students
will use a new online ticketing process
this year.
This year’s seven home
games are scheduled for Sept. 4 vs. Virginia Tech (7:15 p.m.); Sept.
17 vs. Eastern Kentucky (6 p.m.); Sept. 24 vs.
North Carolina (TBA); Oct. 13 vs. Clemson (7:30 p.m.); Oct. 29 vs. Southern
Miss (TBA); Nov. 19 vs. Middle Tennessee (1 p.m.); and Nov. 26 vs. Maryland
(TBA).
