The
NC State Employee Appreciation Week will be Sept. 23-27, and a host
of events are scheduled throughout the week. The main event will be
held at Reynolds Coliseum on Wednesday, Sept. 25, from 10:30 a.m. until
1:30 p.m.
The week will start Sept. 23 with a universitywide Bake-Off. Contestants
can enter a homemade dessert to be judged by a panel of dessert
connoisseurs. Bake-Off winners will be announced at noon on Sept.
23.
The Intramural Recreational Sports department and the Wolfpack Club
will sponsor the second-annual Fitness Walk & Fun Run on Tuesday,
Sept. 24.
The annual Employee Appreciation Day & Benefits Fair will be on
Wednesday, Sept. 25 in Reynolds Coliseum with entertainment, food and
prizes, and many booths from campus organizations and benefits vendors.
On Thursday, Sept. 26, each department or unit is encouraged to hold
its own event such as Hawaiian Shirt Day, an Ice Cream Social, or a
Decorate Your Office contest. You can also tour the JC Raulston Arboretum
from 10:30 a.m. until 1:30 p.m.
The week will conclude on Friday, Sept. 27 as the American Red Cross
will sponsor a blood drive from 9 a.m. until 1:30 p.m. in the Walnut
Room at the Talley Student Center. To register to donate blood or volunteer,
