O. Max Gardner
nominations sought
The O. Max Gardner Award is
made annually to a member of the faculties of the University of North
Carolina system who, in the opinion of the
Board of Governor’s Committee, “during the current scholastic
year, has made the greatest contribution to the welfare of the human
race.”
The
NC State committee will consider the complete file on each nominee.
The term faculty shall embrace all persons, including instructors, engaged
in teaching in any unit, institution or branch of service of the consolidated
University of North Carolina. Earlier contributions than the current
year also are necessarily considered.
Nominations will be closed on
