The Polish-born Faber suffered the horrors of eight concentration camps, including the infamous Auschwitz, and the murders of his parents, five of his six sisters and his brother, Romek. He was liberated from Bergen-Belsen in 1945 at the age of 18. Many of his experiences are chronicled in the memoir, "Because of Romek." The Center for Student Leadership, Ethics, & Public Service will host the lecture, which is free and open to the public.
