NC State will operate under the Adverse Weather Policy for all classes beginning at 6 p.m. or later today (Wednesday, Dec. 4). During adverse weather and other emergency conditions, faculty, staff and students are responsible for their regularly assigned duties and must make up time missed. Employees in non-critical roles must make their own decisions about reporting to work, based on personal safety.

Faculty will make reasonable efforts to hold classes, taking into consideration actual conditions. If a class meets, individual students will not be penalized for non-attendance and will be allowed to make up any missed work.

Additional announcements concerning class and work schedules will be posted on the NC State home page, and announced via media outlets.
