Dr. Kazufumi Ito, mathematics, co-authored a paper that has been recognized as a 2006 Outstanding Paper by the Society for Industrial and Applied Mathematics.
Dr. Gianluca Lazzi, electrical and computer engineering, co-authored a paper that has received the H.A. Wheeler Applications Prize Paper Award from the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE) Antennas and Propagation Society. The award is given for the best application paper published in the IEEE Transactions on Antennas and Propagation.
Dr. Lubos Mitas, physics, and Dr. Helena Mitasova, marine, earth and atmospheric sciences, co-authored an article titled “Real-Time Landscape Model Interaction Using a Tangible Geospatial Modeling Environment” in the July/August edition of Computer Graphics & Applications Magazine.
