Student Perceptions of Workshop Physics II
Most of the students at both schools felt that anyone can learn physics - although some with conditions
- if you apply yourself (2 students)
- if you really want to (2 students)
Students at NWU were mixed as to whether WP was better than lectures
- Only two of the four NWU students in the top third of the class and three of ten overall preferred WP to lectures
- Six NWU students believed that learning by lecture was or would be more effective for them than figuring things out by themselves
