On behalf of the African American Heritage Society,
I welcome you to our site. The African American Heritage Society is the student component of the African American Cultural Center. The Society aids the Cultural Center in its programs that create and enhance an appreciation for African Americans and their contributions to society. The African American Heritage Society invites any and all NC State students to become a part of our organization. Thank you for your interest.

The mission of the African American Heritage Society
is to provide extracurricular personal study, research, social, and cultural experiences that examine the heritage of people of African descent.

We shall support the Society's programmatic development in promoting awareness among African American students at North Carolina State University, of the historical development of African peoples throughout the world's history, and to provide an arena in which African American students may recognize and utilize the legacy of prior contirbutions of Africans and African-Americans in their personal and professional development, through research-oriented activities developed from Afro-centric perspective.
