Iota Phi Theta Fraternity, Inc., Gamma Xi Chapter

Established: November 3, 1997

Purpose

On September 19, 1963, twelve students founded Iota Phi Theta at Morgan State University. It is currently the nation’s fifth largest African American social service fraternity. As IPT continues to grow and strengthen, so will its commitment to make meaningful contributions to society, particularly to the African American community. Throughout the nation, IPT has come to represent excellence in all areas as it is dedicated to the founders’ vision of “Building a Tradition, Not Resting Upon One!” Currently inactive.
