Kappa Alpha Psi, Fraternity
Purpose
Kappa Alpha Psi, Fraternity, Inc., founded in 1911, is dedicated to upholding the ideals of achievement, brotherhood, service and scholarship. The Kappa Xi Chapter at NC State actively promotes these ideals through various programs and activities both on and off campus. Prominent members of Kappa Alpha Psi include: former Mayor Tom Bradley of Los Angeles, the late tennis great and activist, Arthur Ashe, and Robert Bridges, former superintendent of the Wake County Public Schools.
