Nubian Message
Established: November 1992
Purpose
The Nubian Message, which began in response to the misrepresentation of NC State African American students by other campus media, has been the voice of the African American campus community since 1992. Published weekly, except during holidays and exam periods, The Nubian Message is dedicated to encouraging dialogue between and among African Americans, to keep students abreast of various organizational programs and cultural events, and to provide a forum for the exchange and expression of ideas.
