Established: May 5, 1989
Purpose
Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc. was organized in 1920 as the “sister sorority” to Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity. It is an organization bound together for the purpose of promoting education by the following ideals: encouraging the highest standards of scholarship, uplifting worthwhile projects on college campuses and within the community, fostering a spirit of sisterly love, and promoting the concept of Finer Womanhood. NC State’s Mu Xi Chapter of Zeta Phi Beta has been an active entity on campus since its local chartering in 1989.
