Centennial Campus Development Office
NC State University's Centennial Campus enriches the lives of people in the city, state, the country and the world by creating an attractive, vibrant and educationally rich community for faculty, staff and partners that bolsters economic development, advances innovation, fosters collaboration and advances the university's mission.
Centennial Campus is a research, advanced technology and academic community where university, industry and government partners interact and collaborate. Physically covering over 1,300 acres, Centennial Campus is an environmentally sensitive, mixed-use development and home to over 70 corporate, industrial and governmental partners working alongside more than 75 University research and academic units. The vision of bringing business and academia together to promote economic development, broaden academic opportunities, and promote innovation and entrepreneurship is a thriving reality today.
The Centennial Campus Development Office (CCDO) plays a key role in encouraging that collaboration through campus development, design, planning, and infrastructure. The office handles all private development processes, including the preparation of RFP/RFQ's, the selection of development teams, negotiation of ground leases and various review processes. The campus currently has a mixture of privately developed buildings and university owned buildings which are occupied by industry, government and university partners that all have a programmatic connection to NC State. As part of its development role the CCDO promotes a wide range of community events on Centennial Campus and welcomes inquiries from qualified groups.
