Message from Committee Chair Bob Jordan

Over the next several months, constituents from the NC State community will undertake one of the most important jobs in the life of a university--the search for a new chancellor. The search for chancellor is of significant importance, as this position requires a dynamic leader who is capable of fulfilling the responsibilities of the chancellorship and who possesses the personal and professional qualifications and characteristics vital to effective leadership.

Members of the NC State Chancellor Search Committee bring an understanding of the unique interests of the campus, the community and state to their role in the search. They are committed to finding a leader with demonstrated accomplishment in higher education and whose integrity and insight will further the mission of the university. I am certain that our search for a new chancellor will bring renewed confidence and momentum to the NC State community.
