THE HOTEL ACCOMMODATIONS

North Carolina State University is located in the central-east area of Raleigh, NC (the state capital) and is within 20 minutes of the Raleigh-Durham International Airport (RDU). The conference will be held at a nearby off campus site, the Holiday Inn Brownstone Hotel and Conference Center.  All attendees are expected to stay here as a way to achieve special rates and to provide easy registration and proximity to both their lodging and the meeting and dining rooms.  When registering be sure to indicate that you are with the ACC Meeting of the Minds Conference.  Participants should make their reservations directly with the hotel:

Directors, please make reservations for your participants

Campus directors should register for themselves (single room) and for their students (2 per room).  The single room rate is $85 and the double student room rate is $90; this reserved block of rooms for the conference participants will be held until 3/13/09, so do not delay registering with the hotel.  The rate includes breakfast.

Proximity to the NC State campus is an easy two block walking distance; a variety of restaurants are within 2-5 blocks of the hotel and a map will be provided in your registration folder.  Maps and other local attractions are available at the hotel’s registration desk.
