The Information Services Team maintains the Advance system and the Advancement reporting system -WebI.
Advance Access
Advance is the donor and alumni database for NC State. Users are required to attend training before their accounts are activated. Users can request Advance reports (WebI) when requesting Advance access.
Advance Training
Advance training is required before a users Advance account is activated. Training courses are being updated as Advance Web is being launched in October 2011. This site will be updated with new information as Advance Web becomes available.
At least four training sessions are offered each month.

Advance Reports (WebI)
Reports for advancement data are provided through Advance Reporting system WebI. Access to WebI is separate from Advance. Users are required to attend Advance Reports (WebI) training before access is granted.
Advance Reports- WebI training consists of two parts. Part 1 covers basic Navigation and Part 2 consists of specific reports that a Development Office/Business Office users might need.

Ad hoc Report Requests
Report requests should now be made through Advance.
Advance users sometimes require data not already available through WebI. In that case, users should
make a report request by clicking on the Report Request link available on the bottom banner of every page within Advance. Once the request has been submitted, please allow at least five business days for the reports to be generated. For those who do not have access to Advance, please email Advance Help for assistance.
Advancement Steering Team
The Advancement Steering Team is charged with evaulating and prioritizing new and ongoing Information Services-related projects.
