Semi-Annual Pledge Review Procedures (07/29/09)
In January 2009, the NCSU Office of Advancement Services instituted a formal practice to review the status of certain outstanding pledges on a regular basis. Revised Gift Transmittal Forms (07/08/09)
We have updated the gift transmittal forms to include a field for the donor’s email address. For the updated gift transmittals, please check out our Resources & Forms page. For checks made payable to NC State University and not a specific foundation, a letter of donor intent is required.
Guidelines For Gifts To a 7 Account & Submitting a BA-151 (07/01/09)
Effective July 1, 2009, to ensure correct and uniform processing of all university gift deposits, gifts deposited into accounts beginning with a “Project Number” of 7 (“7 Accounts”, previously referred to as “Trust Accounts”), will be entered into the Advance system according to a new procedure. Completed forms must be submitted with deposit slip(s), copy of check(s), and signed back-up documentation from the donor. Please contact Alumni & Donor Records to see a sample Gift Transmittal. A University records management team created a best practices document for Prospect Management. The prospect management registration request form and the prospect management removal request form have been updated to reflect the requirements for development officers.
Add an Entity to Advance Form (04/28/09)
If you need to request research or register a prospect, it is required that the donor is already in Advance. Please use this form for adding a new entity to Advance and Alumni & Donor Records will add it for you.
