Students who intend to go to professional school (medical, dental, optometry, veterinary, law) after graduating from NC State can pursue ANY academic major as an undergraduate. In other words, there is no single "Pre-Law", "Pre-Med", "Pre-Vet", etc. major.

There are, however, specific undergraduate courses required to prepare for the Pre-Med and Pre-Vet programs.

These courses can be integrated into the major you choose in most cases. An Adviser can assist you with understanding how you would fit these courses into your chosen degree.

If you know the major you would like to pursue, contact the Coordinator of Advising for that major.

If you are unsure of your major, contact one the Pre-Med, Pre-Vet, "Undeclared Advisers" listed below.

Please note that 919 is the area code for each phone number.
