RESEARCH INTERESTS

Source tracking fecal and bacterial contaminants in environmental waters and ready-to eat vegetables; describing bacterial diversity in freshwater mussels using culture and molecular methods; development and validation of real-time PCR primer/Taq probe sets; adaptation and development of rapid biosensors to source tracking and food safety monitoring.
