The historical record of the University, N.C. State’s oldest student publication, the Agromeck yearbook, celebrated its 100th birthday with the 2002 edition.

The Agromeck has received some of the nation's highest awards for college media, including the Pacemaker from the Associated Collegiate Press and Crown awards from the Columbia Scholastic Press Association. Individual staff members have received numerous awards for design, photography and writing.

A classic yearbook, the Agromeck documents the lives of the 30,000-plus students, faculty and staff on the campus, covering everything from football games andpep rallies to fraternity and sorority events and classroom activities.

The Agromeck staff produces a book that will not only be useful in a year but useful in 20 or 30 years to help people know what life at N.C. State was like.
