NC State is one of the best universities
in the country, providing a world-class education at a great
value. Many assume that NC State’s tuition is low compared
to its peers because the state makes up the difference. However,
if the University only relied on state support and tuition for
its funding, many of the outstanding programs and services that
distinguish NC State from its peers would not exist. That is why
each year we ask parents to help support the University through
the NC State Parents’ Fund.
Since the inception of the Parents’ Fund in 1993, parents have contributed
$1.65 million to support the student experience. This financial support is essential
to providing a rich and rewarding student experience ― beyond the classroom ― through
extracurricular learning, community service programs, and recreational and cultural
activities.
Your support will help NC State continue to provide excellent opportunities for
your sons and daughters, and students to come.
