Diving Emergency Management Provider Course

Description: This class will meet the emergency care training requirements for scientific divers for a period of two years.  The course will cover CPR; DAN's AEDs for Scuba Diving Diving; DAN's Oxygen First Aid for Scuba Diving Injuries; DAN's Advanced Oxygen First Aid for Scuba Diving Injuries; and DAN's First Aid for Hazardous Marine Life Injuries.  The class meets for one day from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. 

Cost of the Course: The cost of the course is $50 and covers the cost of materials. A check for $50 should be made out to the Department of Physical Education. In the memo section of your check, write in "DEMP Course" and the date that you plan on attending. The check should be send or given to Ms. Katherine Klinger, the Administrative Assistant for the Department of Physical Education at least two weeks prior to the start of the class..
