Endowment Support—a healthy endowment is critical for the future of the arts at NC State. While revenues fluctuate over time because of private and public support, an endowment provides stability and encourages innovation and flexibility. Named endowments can be created with a minimum gift of $15,000 and can honor or memorialize loved ones while supporting arts initiatives. Endowments can be unrestricted in nature or can support specific programs, facilities and students.
Donors can also contribute to the many endowments currently established, representing a variety of needs and purposes. Below are just a few of the established endowments:
ARTS NC STATE Endowment: provides unrestricted support for the six visual and performing arts programs.
Center Stage Endowment: provides unrestricted support for Center Stage program.
NC State Dance Program Endowment: provides unrestricted support for the Dance Program.
Friends of the Gregg Endowment: provides unrestricted funds for the Gregg Museum of Art & Design.
NC State Athletic Bands Endowment: provides donors with the opportunity to adopt a position within our Marching Band while providing unrestricted funds for the overall athletic bands program.
NC State Theatre Endowment: created by the founding members of the Theatre Endowment Board, this unrestricted fund supports University Theatre and Center Stage programs.
