NOTICE ON THE IMPACT OF TALLEY RENOVATION: The NC State community is very excited about the renovation and expansion of the Talley Student Center now in progress. Unfortunately, this construction will affect the operations of the Stewart Theatre located in Talley, beginning in January 2013. Stewart Theatre will temporarily cease operations at that time, resuming when Talley reopens. Construction activities around the theatre require that we dismantle and store most of the lighting and sound fixtures and equipment for storage during the construction period to prevent damage and allow access to the facility. Additionally, we carefully considered the levels of construction noise and disruption, access and safety of those who would use the theatre in timing our closing.
Stewart Theatre is unique on the campus and we know this will affect many organizations that currently schedule events in the facility.
Please watch the Talley construction updates for the exact time of our reopening. As soon as we know when we will again be able to book the theatre, we will notify the campus and open for reservations.
Thank you for your continued patience during the renovation and expansion. If you have questions or concerns please email us at email@example.com or call us at 919-515-3927.
