NC STATE ANNOUNCES TWO NEW STUDENT AWARDS IN THE PERFORMING ARTS
ARTS NC STATE announces two new annual awards to recognize student achievement
in the performing arts at NC State University.
The Creative Artist Award will recognize original work in music, dance and theatre, created by NC State students. A committee of music, dance and theatre faculty will review submissions made annually of original work in the fields of music, dance and theatre, and will choose the artists who best exemplify the award(s) for Creative Artist. The selected work will be performed in the following academic year by the appropriate ARTS NC STATE performing arts program.

The Performing Artist Award honors student performers in music, dance and theatre. Open to any current full-time NC State student enrolled in a music, dance or theatre course and/or involved in a Music Department, Dance Program, or University Theatre production or performance. This award is chosen by adjudicating faculty.
