In the student arts organizations,
you will find friends, fun and meaningful activities that will enhance
your campus experience.
- Campus Arts Council—a
student organization set up to involve and inform students about
the arts at NC State University. Contact Sharon

- Mu Beta Psi—A service
fraternity which works toward the promotion & appreciation
of music. The fraternity assists the Department of Music with
concert set-ups, break downs & promotions. It also sponsors
a $500 scholarship which assists an incoming freshman who will
be involved with a performance ensemble during his / her freshman
year. Pledging occurs each semester. Contact the music department

- Alpha Psi Omega—Alpha
Psi Omega is the National Collegiate Honorary Dramatic Fraternity.
The Psi Kappa Cast is the University Theatre's chapter of Alpha
Psi Omega which was founded in 1972. Members are invited to
pledge the fraternity by earning points for their service to
University Theatre productions in performance and or production.
APO members serve University Theatre in many capacities including
student leadership, activism and recruitment. Initiations are
held twice yearly. Contact Terri

- Black Repertory Theatre—BRT is
a student organization that encourages the production of Black
plays, provides a forum for discussion of the Black experience
in the theatre and of the contributions of Blacks in the theatre
and provides theatre about the Black experience that will involve
all students. Contact

of Time (Choral) Male a cappela ensemble (8 members).
Auditions are held when a member leaves the group. For more

- Ladies in Red (Choral) Female
a cappela ensemble (8-10 members). Auditions are held when a
member leaves the group. For more information call

- ** Additional ensembles may be formed
by students during the course of the year. Student groups such
as the Jazz Combo, Sax Pack & the String Quartet are examples
of small groups of students which have formed & play for
a variety of university & public events. Each ensemble is
required to have a faculty advisor & students must be enrolled
in a larger departmental ensemble.
