STUDENT THEATRE AND ARTS ORGANIZATIONS

The students at NC State University are very active in the student arts organizations.

Alpha Psi Omega—Alpha Psi Omega is the National Collegiate Honorary Dramatic Fraternity. The Psi Kappa Cast is the University Theatre's chapter of Alpha Psi Omega which was founded in 1972. Members are invited to pledge the fraternity by earning points for their service to University Theatre productions in performance and or production. APO members serve University Theatre in many capacities including student leadership, activism and recruitment. Initiations are held twice yearly. Contact 08-09 president Casey Watkins.

Black Repertory Theatre—BRT is a student organization that encourages the production of African American plays, provides a forum for discussion of the Black experience in the theatre and of the contributions of African Americans in the theatre. Contact Ron Foreman.
