Alison Ruff

Alison Ruff is in her second year as the Academic Coordinator for the Track & Field/Cross Country and Men's Swimming and Diving Teams. Alison also has programmatic responsibilities as the coordinator of both ASPSA advising development and assessment. Additionally, she develops the curriculum and teaches both the University Studies Courses (USC) 201 and 401. Alison came to NCSU after spending the 2006-2007 academic year as an Academic Coordinator, CHAMPS/Life Skills Coordinator, and SAAC Advisor at Coastal Carolina University in Conway, South Carolina. Prior to working in the Chanticleer Athletics Department at CCU, Alison pursued her master's degree in Higher Education at Grand Valley State University in Allendale, MI while serving as an assistant volleyball coach and intern with the LAKER Academic Center. Alison is a graduate of Marietta College (Marietta, OH) earning her bachelor's degree in mathematics, with minors in sport management and leadership studies where she competed in four years of varsity volleyball for the Pioneers. Alison resides in Raleigh.
