Katie came to NC State from her hometown of Toronto, Ontario, Canada in 1999 as a member of the Women's Swim Team. She graduated from NCSU in 2003 with a degree in Business Management. Katie continued her education at NCSU where she earned her Master's in Counselor Education. Katie has worked with ASPSA since 2003 and currently serves as an academic coordinator for football.
-Her choice for a celebrity presidential candidate for the 2008 election would be Oprah Winfrey.
- Her three favorite movies of all time are Love and Basketball, Everafter and Meet the Parents.
- Her favorite food is anything chocolate.
