Value Statements

ASPSA took a great amount of time in order to develop mission and vision statements. These statements answer the questions "Why do you do what you do?" and "What are you trying to accomplish?" Simply, these are the core values that we operate under and hold ourselves to, as a program and as indivdual professionals.

NC State Student Athlete Code of Conduct

As an NC State student athlete, I am an ambassador for my university, my hometown, my family, my team, and my fellow student. Because of the respect I have for myself and for them, I will:

1. Be responsible for my own actions at all times.
2. Act with the highest standards of integrity in all that I do.
3. Participate fully in academic and athletic matters.
4. Earn my college degree.
5. Exhibit good sportsmanship no matter what circumstance I am in.
6. Contribute to my community, especially to those less fortunate than myself.
7. Remain an amateur, in fact and in spirit, for as long as I am an NC State student.
8. Treat my body with respect and care.
9. Lead, rather than follow, the behavior of others.
10. Be a positive role model for my team members, fellow students, alumni, fans, and especially the school children that will follow in my footsteps.
