A day in the life of a Freshman
Student Athlete

Are you a new student athlete, prospective athlete or someone who just wants to know what the life of the student athlete is like? Well, we have put together a picture of what a day in the life for a freshman football player looks like. After a glance, you will realize how little time these young people have in a normal day during the course of their playing season.

The Day

7:00 AM· Daily Check-in: As a group, freshman football players check in at the Case Athletic Study Center.

3:15 - 3:45 PM· Special Teams: Players involved with the special teams aspect of the game have this time set aside to work exclusively on their skills. NC State football has always emphasized special teams as an integral part of a winning game plan.
3:45 - 6:00 PM· Team Practice: Players receive excellent individual and team instruction from a qualified and knowledgeable coaching staff. Team practice is held at the new Curtis and Jacqueline Dail practice Complex located conveniently at the Murphy Football Center.
