A native of Northfield, Vermont, Christi Turner graduated with a bachelor's degree in psychology and a mathematics minor from St. Michael's College in 1996. She completed a master's degree in Educational Administration and Policy Studies with a concentration in Higher Education from the University at Albany in 2002. During her four years at SMC, Christi was a member of the women's swim team and was team captain during her senior year. She was the Assistant Director of Sports Information at San Francisco State University and helped out in the athletic academic support services from 1996-99. She left SFSU and became an athletic academic counselor at The University of Iowa in Men's Athletic Student Services for one year. From 2000-2003, she was the Assistant Director of Athletic Academic Support Services at the University at Albany for two years before being promoted to Director in her last year. Christi has been involved with the PAC Program since 2003.
She is married to Cailean and they have two sons, Ian and Gavin.
Carrie Woods has been a Graduate Assistant in the PAC Program since August 2007. She received her bachelor's degree in Ski & Resort Management from Western State College, in Gunnison, Colorado. Currently, Carrie is pursuing a Master's of Education with an emphasis in College Counseling. Carrie has also worked for NCSU Housing as a Resident Director on East Campus since 2006. Heather, who is originally from Winston-Salem, NC, attended Appalachian State University. She graduated in 2006 with a degree in History and Secondary Education. Heather is currently working towards her Master's degree in Counselor Education and is serving as a graduate assistant for the PAC program.
Born and raised in rural north central Ohio, just outside of Cleveland, Matt attended the University of Findlay where he was a four-year member of the Men's Soccer Squad. Matt graduated from Findlay in 2002 with a B.S. in Biology/Pre-medicine and minors in Chemistry and Psychology. Matt continued his education at DePaul University in Chicago, IL, where he earned his Master's of Education, focusing on Community and Agency Counseling, in June of 2006.
Matt has a varied background in counseling, ranging from counseling individuals afflicted with mental illnesses to research on success tendencies among educators and students to research focusing on university level students with learning disabilities.
Matt currently resides in the Raleigh area with his wife, Nicole.
