The Mentors

The Beckman Scholars Mentors were selected based upon their past success with supervising undergraduate research students. Over the past five years, these NC State faculty members have mentored a total of 140 undergraduates. They have published 48 refereed journal articles with undergraduates as co-authors. Their undergraduate research students have made 32 presentations at national and international scientific meetings. Their cumulative total annual external research funding is in excess of $3.6 million.
