The Biomathematics Graduate Program faculty consists of individuals within the Department of Statistics and the Department of Mathematics, plus individuals in other departments at NCSU and off-campus adjunct faculty whose main interests involve modeling biological systems.

Research Interests: Computational biology, molecular evolution of proteins- particularly transcriptional regulators, evolution and structure of the basic Helix-Loop-Helix (bHLH) family of transcription factors, application of multivariate statistical methods to sequence analysis, developmental quantitative genetics, genetic architecture of complex traits.
