What is Biomass?
First of all, what is biomass? It is stuff principally made of carbon that is naturally produced on our planet — typically all living systems fall under this category (think of plants, trees, animals/byproducts, garbage/waste) — that can be used for many purposes. Biomass education is now a prominent topic on the minds of many people in government, academia, and industry because of the energy issues our world is currently facing.
