The Department of Forestry and Environmental Resources will host an Arbor Day celebration and open house from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturday, March 21, on campus. Faculty will lead a guided campus tree walk and give tours of the environmental technology labs; exhibitors from forest-related organizations will answer questions and provide information; and the 2009 North Carolina Arbor Day poster contest winner will be announced at noon.
