The Gregg Museum of Art & Design presents an exhibition titled "Faces and Mazes" through May 15. Hillsborough Street Roundabout Project
Work continues on the center islands for the roundabouts at Oberlin Road and Pullen Road and at Hillsborough Street and Pullen Road. Utility, median, sidewalk, and curb and gutter work is under way on Hillsborough.
Drivers should expect traffic delays at the intersection of Hillsborough and Pullen at times because of heavy equipment movement. Oberlin Road is now open to one-way traffic northbound. Horne and Lampe streets approaching Hillsborough are closed for utility work, but Horne Street is expected to open this week.
For pedestrians, crosswalks and campus entrances remain open near Horne Street and the Alley (formerly Western Lanes) in the busiest construction area. Many crosswalks are in place elsewhere along the street. Sidewalks on the north side of Hillsborough from Logan Court to Enterprise Street are closed for construction. Pedestrians will be shifted to the sidewalks on the south side of Hillsborough Street, now completed.
Run/Walk Club
Start the new year on the right foot, then the left, then the right, and then pick up the pace. If you would like to walk, jog, run or a little of all three with a group of folks just like yourself, come out on Tuesdays and Thursdays at 11:45 a.m. to run/jog/walk around Centennial Campus. All levels are encouraged to participate. No one gets left behind. Meet at the corner of Varsity Drive and Main Campus Drive, nearest to the Venture III Building. It will be a bit chilly, so bring your gloves. For more information, contact Kimberly Kolsar at 301-3210.
