In video games, the concept of the “do over” is familiar to players – replaying a level or situation over and over, using knowledge from previous tries to finally get it right.

Doctoral student Chris Hazard has taken that idea to the next level with his groundbreaking new video game Achron – generating buzz with gamers and interest from the U.S. Army.

Dog Day Charity Race

Enjoy the great outdoors this weekend with your best friend - the one who's always ready for a walk. Two-legged runners and their four-pawed friends are welcome on Sunday, March 28, at NC State's Dog Day Race, organized by students in the American Veterinary Medical Association chapter. There's a humans-only 5K run and a two-mile walk for people with their dogs. Water will be provided for both people and canines. Proceeds benefit the Wake County Animal Shelter.
