INTRAMURAL BADMINTON INFORMATION

Eligibility, Sportsmanship, and Rules

 

 

Who can play Intramural Badminton

• Currently enrolled undergraduate or graduate students with a valid NC State All Campus Card
• NC State Faculty and Staff with a valid Carmichael Gym membership

Who can NOT play Intramural Badminton

• Household members

How many leagues can I play for

• Each individual must meet the requirements for the league(s) he/she wishes to participate in
• An individual can play in one (1) individual/singles bracket and one doubles bracket
• Organizations should review the Organizational Point Manual to determine the number of teams they may register
• When Co-Rec leagues are offered, an individual may play for one (1) Co-Rec team in addition to the other leagues they participate in

Forfeits and Defaults

• The forfeit charge for individual/dual sports is $5.00 for a singles match and $10.00 for a doubles match
• Forfeit charges must be paid in the Campus Recreation office within four business days
