The Willis R. Casey Aquatics Center is very sensitive to the needs of students, faculty, and staff with disabilities. We recognize the freedom of movement that the aquatic environment gives to individuals with ambulatory disabilities and the unique opportunity for all individuals to exercise in an environment where the effects of gravity are essentially negated. We are constantly working to provide accommodations in accordance with Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973 and the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) of 1990. A chair lift for assisting non-ambulatory patients is located on the deck of both the 25 yard and the 50 meter pools.
