Equipment Room
Equipment Room services are available to all fee-paying
NC State students and those holding full-service memberships
of Carmichael Complex. Patrons of the Equipment Room, located
in room 1217 of Carmichael Gym, must utilize an All-Campus ID
card in order to checkout any item(s) from the Equipment Room.
Clothing Checkout
Clothing checkout is a semester service, meaning that dirty
clothing may be switched on a one-to-one basis for clean items
in the equipment room. Soiled clothing items may be returned
to the Equipment Room on the RIGHT side of the left clerk window
in exchange for clean replacements throughout the semester.
When turning in clothing at the end of the membership period,
please return to an Equipment Room monitor or clerk to obtain
a receipt for your return. Failure to do so may result in replacement
charges for lost or missing clothing.

Equipment Checkout
All equipment is available for daily checkout ONLY and must
be returned by the end of the day on which it is checked out,
unless checked out for an approved specified period of time.
A member will be allowed to check out only the quantity of the
equipment required for one participant. A member may check out
two items for those activities requiring two participants(i.e. tennis or racquetball), so
long as a valid All-Campus ID card is provided.
Special functions (departmental) may reserve equipment three
days in advance of the planned date of use. Such a request may
be made by contacting the Equipment Room manager at 919-513-3448,
after which all of the details and confirmation of your reservation
will proceed. If you do not receive a response within two hours
of your initial request, you may then contact the Equipment
Room at 919- 515-3508. Please remember that a valid All-Campus ID
is required for all equipment reservations.

Abandonment Charges
Failure to return any clothing or recreational items to the equipment room by the appropriate time or date will result in charges being placed on student accounts. Members responsible for damaged and/or missing items are subject to such charges as well. Access to the gym may be denied if charges are not cleared.
Individuals not cleaning out assigned lockers by the deadline will be assessed a charge of up to $20 for locker clean out service. The University Cashier's Office will process any charges once received.
