MEMBERSHIPS
Full Service Members
Full-service members are those who pay $20 a month ($240 for the year) or are students who pay the required fees each semester. These patrons are allowed access to the services provided by equipment room. These members may check out a lock, a small locker, shorts, a skirt, socks, towels, supporters. Students only have the option to receive sweat pants and sweat shirts. Students in PE classes will receive them first. These members may also check out additional recreational equipment, which can be found here.
Access only Members
Those who pay $15 a month ($180 for the year) or student household members for the semester; will not be able to check out any equipment. These patrons must bring their own clothing and their own lock. The day lockers are authorized for use by anyone with access to the gym, but items must be removed at the end of each day.
Upgrade/Downgrade
Members who are currently paying for membership through payroll deduction have the option to upgrade to full service or downgrade to access only memberships. Members will need to come by Play Central, located in the main lobby of the Carmichael Recreation Center, to fill out the payroll form to change their membership type.
Payroll Deduction Cancellation Form
To cancel payroll deduction, visit the Admin Portal web site and select the following: Employee Self Service, Payroll and Compensation Home, Voluntary Deductions On this page you are able to cancel the gym deduction.
Household Members of Faculty/Staff/Affiliates
Current members may sponsor one household member.
Sponsors can sign up household members but household members
cannot sign up without sponsor being present.
Sponsoring Faculty/Staff/Affiliate must be a current gym member
or in the process of purchasing a gym membership.
Employee and potential HHM must each provide proof of address.
The addresses on both forms must match.
The following are all acceptable forms of proof of address:
- Current utility bill
- Lease Agreement
- Personal Checks
- Driver's License
- Insurance bill or card
- Credit card statement
- Current bank statement
- Current tuition bill
- Current payroll check
These are not acceptable forms of proof of address:
- Marriage License
- Junk Mail
- Handwritten letters
Household members have two choices for membership once eligibility has been confirmed:
Rates Effective July 1, 2007
- Full Service- $240 per year: Includes locker, lock, clothing check-out, equipment check-out and racquetball court reservation privileges.
- Access Only- $180 per year: Use of the facility and daily lockers only.
Household members have one payment choice:
- Pre-Pay: Member pre-pays for entire gym fee for one year. This fee is non-refundable.
