11 wooden basketball floors exist in two locations.
Courts 1-8 are located in the east wing of Carmichael Gym. These feature courts designated for volleyball (Courts 3 and 5) and badminton (Court 4 and 6), and four courts designated for basketall (Courts 1, 2, 7, and 8).
Priority
:: On Fridays, badminton has priority on courts 4 and 6 after 5:00pm.
:: Volleyball is designated on Courts 3 and 5, unless PE classes are in session or Intramural Sports is occurring.
:: Courts 1-A is designated for Women's Basketball during unstructured informal recreation.
Courts 9-11 are located in the west wing of Carmichael Gym. A curtain separates Courts 10 and 11 for safety reasons. Court 11 features mats that are used for Club Sports only and archery targets which may only be used for Physical Education classes. Neither is available for recreational use.
Physical Education classes are offered throughout the day
on all basketball courts providing classes in archery, badminton,
basketball, and volleyball. During the afternoon and evening
hours, the courts are available for open play in basketball,
volleyball and badminton. Campus Recreation activities are
held in the afternoon and early evening hours and include Intramural Sports events, Group Fitness classes, and Club
Sports practices.
