Can you please order more basketballs? There are never enough and they are always checked out.
New basketballs were acquired and the checkout procedures have been enhanced to ensure the timely return of each ball. Part of our issue is that people are checking out equipment using a daily check-out, but they are not returning the equipment that day (which causes a temporary shortage in equipment). We plan to further refine the daily check-out process to eliminate that from happening, but in the meantime if you could please return all sports equipment on the same day that you check it out, that would also help.

Please create more court time for badminton.
We have ensured that at least four badminton courts are available during open recreation time.

 

Please order new towels for showering - the ones that you currently have are shrinking!
New towels have been ordered and we will begin using them during Summer Session I. Please note that since these towels will be much larger, you should only need one at a time instead of requesting multiple towels to dry off from one shower.

 

We need more racquetball equipment.
The Equipment Room has enough equipment for every court to host a doubles match. With that said, we purchased more equipment to accommodate those who are waiting to use the courts. Please keep in mind, all sports equipment must be turned in by 10:45 pm each night so that the next person can use the equipment.

 

Please get newer and more up-to-date equipment in the mini-gym.
We have worked really hard this year to update the cardio equipment that is housed in Carmichael Gym. In fact, we have replaced any piece of cardio equipment that is 5 years old or older, and we plan to stick to that standard. In the future, we plan to cycle out all cardio equipment after a maximum of 5 years use. Please enjoy the new equipment that we have purchased in the mini-gym, the lobby of the tennis court entrance, and the hallway outside of the racquetball courts (tennis court side).

 

We need the same cleaning system in Carmichael Gym that you have in the Rec Center.
Please notice that Gym Valets have been installed in all strength and cardio areas of Carmichael Gym. Thank you for using this product and helping us keep our equipment clean!

 

Please add the Wolfline Tracker to one of the TVs in the Rec Center so that we can plan our work out times appropriately to catch the bus.
The Transit Visualization System (TVS) is now added to one of the TVs near the water fountains.
