Memberships
Fee Paid Students
All full fee-paying students enrolled in the current semester are
entitled to use the facilities. These students have full service
memberships that include locker checkout, equipment and clothing
rentals, and towel service. Memberships run from the first day
of classes until the last day of exams in each semester. Students
who will not be returning for the spring semester will have
their membership expire on the first day of classes in the spring
semester.
Students who are not enrolled in the current semester but were enrolled and fee paid in the previous semester and are fee paid and enrolled for the upcoming semester (including summer sessions) are also eligible for a semester stopout membership. Student Household Members
Current students may sponsor one adult household member, 18
years or older, per semester for a fee of $60/semester or $45
for both summer sessions. This fee will not be prorated
and is non-refundable. Household members of students may
only purchase an Access Only membership; Full Service is not
an option.
The sponsoring student must come to Play Central at Carmichael Recreation Center; and bring proof of address for themselves and the household member. The household member must bring a photo ID as well. The household member does not need to be present, but may need to come to Play Central to get a gym ID made if they do not have an All Campus Card.
The following are all acceptable forms of proof of address:
- Current utility bill
- Lease Agreement
- Personal Checks
- Driver’s License
- Insurance bill or card
- Credit card statement
- Current bank statement
- Current tuition bill
- Current payroll check
These are not acceptable forms of proof of address:
- Marriage License
- Junk Mail
- Handwritten letters
Stopout Memberships
Students who are not enrolled in the current semester but were
enrolled and paid fees in the previous semester and have paid fees and enrolled for the upcoming semester are also
eligible for a semester stopout membership.
Incoming Freshmen, can purchase a summer stopout membership by bringing proof of their fall enrollment and their Campus ID.
These students must have an All Campus ID Card and will receive a full service membership that includes a locker, lock, clothing check-out, and equipment check-out.
Rates Effective July, 1 2007
The fee for this membership must be pre-paid:
$20 for one summer session
$40 for both summer sessions
$60 for spring or fall semester
These memberships will go on sale starting the first day of classes for each session, and through out the semester.
Student Interns
Student Interns must provide a letter from their sponsoring
department indicating that they are working for that department
for the applicable semester. This requires approval of Carmichael
Complex’s Facility Director or Business Manager.
Student Interns can purchase Full Service membership only and
must pre-pay for the entire gym fee. This fee is non-refundable,
and is not prorated.
