DIRECTIONS
Directions to Carmichael Gymnasium
From the West (Chapel Hill, Durham, & I-85):
Take I-40 East to the Gorman Street exit (Exit # 295). At the
bottom of the ramp, turn left onto Gorman. Go to the second
stop light and turn right onto Avent Ferry Road. Enter campus
by crossing Western Boulevard, where Avent Ferry becomes Morrill
Drive. Carmichael Gymnasium will be on the left when you reach
the next light, the intersection of Morrill Drive and Cates Avenue.
From the East (Wilmington & I-95):
Take I-40 West to the Gorman Street exit (Exit # 295). At the
bottom of the ramp, turn Right onto Gorman. Go to the second
stop light and turn right onto Avent Ferry Road. Enter campus
by crossing Western Boulevard, where Avent Ferry becomes Morrill
Drive. Carmichael Gymnasium will be on the left when you reach
the next light, the intersection of Morrill Drive and Cates Avenue.
From North Raleigh:
Take 440 (outside loop) to Hillsborough Street exit (Exit # 3). Turn left
onto Hillsborough Street. Turn right onto Pullen Road followed
by a right on Dunn Avenue then a left on Jeter Drive. Stay in the right lane and where Jeter Drive splits, veer right. You are now on Cates Avenue. Carmichael will be across the intersection
at the next light, the intersection of Morrill Drive and Cates Avenue.
From the Greenville Area:
Take US 64 west to US 264 west toward Raleigh. Merge onto I-440
Inner Beltline. Take I-440 to the Gorman Street exit (Exit # 295). Turn
right onto Gorman Street. Go to the second stop light and turn right onto Avent Ferry Road. Enter campus
by crossing Western Boulevard, where Avent Ferry becomes Morrill
Drive. Carmichael
Gymnasium will be on the left when you reach the next light,
the intersection of Morrill Drive and Cates Avenue.
