This award-winning jazz ensemble specializes in music from the time-honored Bebop and Hard Bop eras of jazz, bringing new life to some of the best-known classics from the Great American Songbook. Ubiquitous as a performer on the regional music scene, John Brown serves as a professor and director of the Jazz Program at Duke.
